Holidays in November and December

A time when most of the Northern Hemisphere heads towards winters, some of you might like the idea of
travelling south to enjoy a warm-weather vacation. If you are planning to travel on weekends, it is advisable to plan the tour in advance. Since it is a time for Thanksgiving and Christmas, people all over the World would be looking forward to having an enjoyable time.

The states of Goa and snow-covered Himachal in India serve more than ten million travellers during this season. Goa is famous for its New-Year celebrations. Fresh snow and mighty Himalayas attract the travellers to Himachal. During the months of November and December, the scenery is especially eye catching.

The Maldives is another big tourist-attraction in December. Gifted with the sun, sand and sea, this place offers more than recreation and serene beauty. Holidays in September and October

Who doesn’t like the idea of a romantic vacation in a place full of orange leaves? As summers bid goodbye, foliage emerges and trees change dry hills into a patchwork of colors.

The choice of places narrows down to those where one can feel the autumn around. Romance quotient is the biggest factor along with a serene view. It is an entirely different season from others. It is time to cover vast areas of land varied with resplendent fall foliage and enjoy facilities like a bon-fire or spa massage.

Let us start with the well known New England and Northeast America. The Greater Portland Casco Bay is a place worth visiting. Portland, the biggest city in Maine is well known for regional seafood, Federal style architecture and 1st class dining facilities. No other place on this land comes close to England’s fall foliage. One has to see the kaleidoscope of colors to believe it. The six states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Vermont serve more or less the same picturesque. Be it whale watching, pasture-gazing, farm-houses or a mountain range, these places are blessed to their zenith.

The next destination is Fiji. This South-Pacific destination will give you all the nostalgic memories which will stay with you for the rest of your life. The states of Rajasthan and Gujarat in Indian subcontinent serve maximum tourists at this time of year}. Some of them enjoy camping in the sugary deserts of Rajasthan. Australia is another beautiful tourist-destination. The Green Cauldron, the Flinders Ranges and the mighty Alps are a few hot-spots. Kakadu is a World Heritage-listed National park. The park comes alive with fantastic wildlife and Aboriginal rock art. The lively outback oasis on the Murray River is famous for its endless sunshine, picturesque vineyards and ancient lunar landscapes. Spain is another popular tourist-place in Europe. Pyrenees is well known for its skiing and thus attracts a major chunk of traveller-population. Spain has the second largest number of World-Heritage sites recognized by UNESCO. Spain is also known for its wine and green pastures. The Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean is a popular place to visit.

Holidays in May and June

Everywhere across the globe, May and June are major travel times where one can enjoy time with kids and family. So why not plan a holiday to a destination where all can find something that suit their personal tastes?

Let’s start our exploring travels from North America. Places like California, Midwestern United States and Canada possess the lion’s share of tourist destinations. California is known for its stunning sunsets, whale-watching adventures and wonderful camping and hiking routes. The mid-west offers its scenic autumn foliage drives along Mississippi River. The liquor-free duty ports there earn lots of tourist money during this season.

The Southern hemisphere is famous for opposite seasons. So if you wish to enjoy snow-covered mountains and the most amazing landscapes, New Zealand is the correct choice for you. From colorful geysers to dormant volcanoes, exploring an ancient tribe to admiring the Southern Islands, you’ve got everything here. You should visit the places with beauty that will fascinate even Peter Jackson, the creator of Lord Of the Rings.

Indian subcontinent also attracts hoards during this season to soak up the beauty of Himalayas. The gateway to Himalayas is opened from Rohtang in Himachal. You will not find any freely available accommodation in this part of country at this time fo year.

France is another wonderful destination. Saint-Martin is a paradise for people who love islands. The fusion of Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean makes Sailing the prime attraction in this place. So once at the sea, you simply listen to the call of the beautiful ocean depths.

During this season, Morocco blooms with different cultures and races as thousands flock here to see the Atlas Mountains. Morocco is a base because of the presence of excellent hiking and trekking facilities. The Majorelle botanical garden in Marrakech is a popular tourist attraction.
